Pack MeetingsMonthly ThemesEach month, we've got a theme that is used to plan the Pack Meeting -- and which leaders can (and should) use to plan their weekly Den meetings. These themes are established by the BSA, and can be found on the web. Tiger, Wolf and Bear leaders can get their monthly Program Helps directly from the BSA website. (They should also be getting them in their Scouting Magazine.) Webelos Leaders can refer to the Webelos Leader Guide for everything they need to prepare for meetings that will help their Scouts on their path to the Arrow of Light. So if you're looking for things to plan for your den, look no further than these aids! AssignmentsOur Dens have jobs to do each month in order to make our Pack meetings run smoothly. Dens with Setup/Snack/Cleanup duty should plan on arriving a half-hour before the Pack meeting begins to help set up tables, chairs, etc. They should also expect to stay a few minutes after the meeting to put tables and chairs away. (Snack means providing some sort of "munchies" -- chips, pretzels, cookies, celery sticks, whatever. The Pack will provide juice boxes.) Actual assignments for each pack meeting can be found by clicking on the Den Meeting entry in the calendar. |
